Physicians
Tanweer H. Khan, M.D., Neuroradiologist (CAQ), trained for two years in a surgery and neurosurgery computerized tomography, cardiac scoring, diagnostic center, xray, medicine, physician, medical specialty, public health, prevention, preventive, MRI scans, MRI scanner, informationinternship at NYU before deciding that neuroradiology was the area of medicine that really inspired him. He completed a residency in radiology at a Columbia affiliated program, followed by a Fellowship in Neuroradiology at University of Illinois-Chicago. During his fellowship, he did advanced work in brain, spine, sinus, interventional and pediatric neuroradiology. After working as Director of Neuroradiology at a regional medical center in New England, Dr. Khan relocated to Colorado Springs in 1999. He is an avid Polo player, and enjoys snowboarding, hiking and other outdoor activities with his family.
John L. Sherman, M.D., has been involved with MRI since its very earliest computerized tomography, cardiac scoring, diagnostic center, xray, medicine, physician, medical specialty, public health, prevention, preventive, MRI scans, MRI scanner, informationdays, contributing many articles and book chapters to documenting the development of this cutting edge diagnostic technology. He received his M.D. from Tufts Medical School, and completed his radiology and neuroradiology training at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. After practicing in the Washington, D.C. area for several years, he moved to Colorado Springs nearly 14 years ago, and has functioned as the Medical Director for MRI of Colorado, Open Air MRI, and Pueblo Imaging Center. He is also Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology.
Dr. Sherman enjoys many outdoor activities here in Colorado, including hiking, camping, rollerblading and gardening. Dr. Sherman has developed a passion for painting over the last several years and is enjoying showing and selling his work in local art venues.
